Weymouth Tour 2018

This year's tour was planned by Allan Hall but, following his untimely death, John Holdaway stepped in and ably continued the organisation. Our thanks to John and everyone who assisted to make the trip such a success.
 
The tour took place over the weekend 1st – 5th June 2018. The main venue and hotel were in Weymouth, the latter situated on the seafront – an ideal location.
 
Matches were played at Lyme Regis on the 2nd, Weymouth on the 3rd and Swanage on the 4th, all in glorious sunshine.
 
The bowlers were well looked after by the host clubs, and the non-bowlers had ample opportunity to explore the three venues, including the shopping areas!
 
The results of the competitions were mixed (i.e. we mainly lost!) but everyone had a very enjoyable time. Attached are various photos at the different venues.
 
Thanks again to the organisers. Looking forward to next year's tour!
