Friendly Match Report – Saturday 13th June 2026
Bicester Bowls Club vs Waddesdon Bowls Club

On a lovely warm afternoon, we welcomed Waddesdon Bowls Club to our green for a friendly mixed triples match played across six rinks. The match was played to18 ends. Gordon Davies for Bicester captained the match, and the teams were eager to enjoy a fun and competitive match in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

Despite Waddesdon giving a good performance, Bicester triumphed on the day with a winning score of 68 shots to Waddesdon’s 50 shots. Congratulations to Bicester on their victory, and a big well done to all the players who gave their best on the green which was in beautiful condition.

Bicester’s highest scoring rink with a score of 22-15 was led by Skip, Peter Hesketh with No. 2 Jill Benn and Charlie Evans in the lead role.

It was a pleasure to meet with our friends from Waddesdon Bowls Club who are a very experienced team, and everyone is looking forward to playing them again on their home turf later this year. Until then, it’s back to the greens

COACHING SESSIONS
